Take an amazing short getaway experience in 3 days Murchison falls park safaris.  Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest park at 3,840 square kilometers and was gazatted in 1926 as a game reserve in the country’s northwest.

The Victoria Nile divides the region into two parts (the northern and southern bank) and classifies it as Savannah grasslands. Over 452 bird species, including the Great blue Turaco, Goliath heron, Shoebill, and the dwarf kingfisher, as well as 76 mammal species, a large population of Nile crocodiles, and the magnificent and thunderous Murchison Falls, which squeeze their way through a gorge only 8 meters wide, call Murchison Falls home. Day 1: Travel to Murchison falls national park, Rhino tracking at ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

Day 2: Game drive in the park and boat cruise on the nile.

Day 3: Transfer to Kampala.

 

Detailed travel plan

Day 1 : Pick up and transfer to Murchison falls national park with stopover at ziwa for rhino tracking.

Our driver guide will pick you up from your accommodation at 7:00 AM, after which you’ll have time for a quick breakfast before setting out on the six-hour trip to Murchison Falls National Park, the first stop on your three-day safari.  You will enroute to ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino trekking , you’ll first go through the Luwero,  for you arrive at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola , which is home to both black and white rhinos.

After you’re done tracking, you’ll stop in Masindi for lunch before continuing on to the park. Once you’ve paid your park entrance fee, you can start driving up to the top of the falls, where you can observe a variety of species, including warthogs, baboons, and more.

From the vantage point at the top of the falls, you can see the beautiful falls as they squeeze between the rocks of the 8-meter-deep ravine below. Please snap as many pictures as you can. After that, you’ll take a drive to the resort, where you may spend the night doing nothing but relaxing.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise on the Nile.

Breakfast will be served at 6:30 a.m., and your driver and  guide will pick you up from the lodge at 7:00 a.m. to begin your game drive. You’ll have a great opportunity to spot a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, water bucks, and birds, throughout your safari drive.

At 11:40 a.m., you’ll return from your game drive and head back to the  safari lodge to freshen up before lunch and later you will head for  an afternoon boat tour on the nile , The banks of the Nile are home to a wide variety of wildlife, including crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, and elephants, as well as a variety of magnificent birds, some of which can be heard singing from the boat, including bee eaters, colored kingfishers, the shoe-billed stork, and many others. You may get a great view of the huge Murchison Falls from the bottom of the falls after taking a boat journey to the foot of the falls.

 Return from the boat trip and be dropped at the docking point,  you will then hop into your car and drive back to the lodge , dinner and overnight will be at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala.

 On your last day of the trip, you will be treated to you last breakfast in the confines of the wild. Check out of the lodge and transfer back to Kampala. You will arrive and later be dropped off at any place of your choice or  airport   for you flight home.
